Major site revision in development

We've been working on a major revision and re-organisation of the WLP site, and hope to begin deploying changes to the site over the next weeks (screenshot included in full news item).

Participation of WLP partners in international conferences

Results of the Work & Learning Partners project are presented by some partners at the ECER 2006 conference in Geneva (September 2006) and the International HRD Conference in Amsterdam (October 2006).

Extra workshop at the Institute of Education, University of London, 3 to 4 July 2006

The research and development partners of the Work & Learning Partners project met for an additional workshop from 3 to 4 July 2006 at the Institute of Education of the University of London. The focus of the meeting was on the piloting activities concerning the WLP Web.

WLP partners visit the German conference "Hochschultage Berufliche Bildung" in Bremen, 15–17 March 2006 – Progress with the development of the WLP Web tools

Third WLP workshop in Velenje, 26-28 January 2006

The third one of the designed workshops of the WLP project was organised by the School Centre Velenje, Slovenia, and took place from 26 to 28 January 2006.

Some new features: courses, objectives and learning-opportunities

We have added new features to the site, which allow members to post the details of courses and their constituent learning-objectives, and also to note learning-opportunities which match organisations to learning-objectives.

First WLP Newsletter available

The Work & Learning Partners Newsletter I/2005, which gives an overview of the activities during the first six months, has been published in May 2005. Printed copies are being distributed by the Research and Development Partners, and a PDF version is available for download in the Project Activities area.

Second workshop in Tallinn, 23-24 May 2005

The second of four workshops with the Research and Development Partners was held at the University of Tallinn, Estonia, from May 23-24, 2005. The partners prepared the regional pilot projects in which various tools for workplace learning partnerships will be implemented and tested.
