Key messages

The analyses of workplace learning undertaken by Estonian research partners focus on cooperation between key enterprises and regional vocational schools in the Southern Estonia. These analyses make transparent major obstacles to cooperation and related challenges. These issues and related developments in other countries have been brought to discussion in the regional WLP workshop in Tartu.

by Krista Loogma & Olesja Bykova - The final report of the WLP project in Estonia gives an overview of the project activities and their outcomes. It containes information on the metalworking and engineering sector backgound (Chapters I and II), activities of the WLP project and development of the sector in Estonia during 2004-2006 (Chapter III), conclusions of the case-studies (Chapter IV), and dissemination activities (Chapter V). The last chapter includes main findings and suggestions.
