At the London workshop we had a very short discussion on how we might use multimedia in the project. This entry develops on those initial ideas.
I would suggest there are three ways we can usefully use multi-media as part of the WLPO project.
OK - that's all for now - I would welocme any feedback. |

A good analysis and a great plan! | Discussion Topic | 0 replies | 11-July-2006 | Mike Malloch |
Thanks for posting this Graham... I might have a few elaborations of detail to make, but otherwise this looks like a great plan to me.
Graham and I had a very rewarding (for me :o) chat on the phone early this morning which touched on these issues (see Graham's post in his personal weblog for some more general issues which emerge from the WLP project collaboration as a process). I completely agree with this analysis of where the best application of effort can be made. I think there is some room for elaborating on the plan for the how-to screencast/video materials (for instance, perhaps a series of short video how-tos on RSS instead of one longer one, taking the user from raw beginner to more advanced practices for using RSS in learning; ditto same for del.icio.us). Let's plan to have more telephone or SKYPE meetings about the details, and hope to have Jamie up here in Bangor for more intensive planning sometime soon. I would emphasise what Graham says: ...These should be designed as practical resources Cheers! --- Mike |
